The report combines AkzoNobel's annual financial and sustainability reporting in one publication. It highlights a Sustainability Council overseeing targets and performance, alongside a new cradle-to-gate carbon-footprint assessment covering 158 key value chains. The report also records a 13.5 million tons CO2 equivalent footprint, a 13 percent reduction in total waste to 249 kilotons, and fresh-water use of 270 million m3.
