Overview

The report describes how the company's sustainability work expanded globally through the Åland Index, giving more than 40 million customers the opportunity to measure their consumption climate impact. It also documents Board oversight of sustainability objectives and a materiality analysis covering the UN goals and their targets. Group energy consumption fell from 2.39 GWh to 2.24 GWh during 2019, while renewable energy exceeded 70 per cent of consumption.
