The report highlights patient-access programs that helped more than 19,600 patients gain access to medication in 2017 and describes more than $2 million in educational grants plus $1 million in ALKERMES INSPIRATION GRANTS®. It reports approximately 2,000 employees and an enterprise-wide CaRE® program for identifying and reducing workplace risk. Environmental highlights include 2017 energy usage of 110,525, Scope 1 emissions of 28,251 metric tonnes, and Scope 2 emissions of 18,815 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalents. It also notes LEED and ISO14001 certification at select facilities.
