The report describes Alpiq's first CSRD-aligned double materiality assessment, identifying climate change mitigation, water and marine resources, biodiversity loss, and working conditions as material topics. It reports 2024 operational-control gross emissions of 1,558,787 T CO2 eq for Scope 1, 13,037 T CO2 eq for Scope 2 and 5,158,787 T CO2 eq for Scope 3. Alpiq has set a net-zero Scope 1 and 2 target for 2040.
