Overview

The report describes Ampol's 2020 sustainability strategy across safety, environment, people, community and the transition to a low-carbon future. It reports 8,127 employees, 576,611 tCO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 222,097 tCO2e of Scope 2 emissions and 41,116,116 tCO2e of Scope 3 emissions associated with combustion of sold products. Ampol became a United Nations Global Compact signatory, advanced TCFD-aligned climate disclosures and obtained KPMG limited assurance over selected safety and carbon data.
