Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents AmSty’s sustainability journey through circularity, operational efficiency, and employee and community programs. It commits to 30% recycled content in food packaging and foodservice resin by 2030 and describes continued investment in polystyrene recycling technologies. For 2022, the report discloses 558,700 mt CO 2 e of Scope 1 emissions, 67,251 mt CO 2 e of Scope 2 emissions, 3,452 mt of waste generated, and 5.02 MMm3 of water consumed. AmSty also reports to CDP and is working to develop the capability to calculate and disclose Scope 3 emissions.
