Overview

The report describes The Andersons' first formal double materiality assessment and its initial ESG goals. It also reports approval of an SBTi commitment letter while the company continues developing its emissions baseline and reduction targets. For 2023, the review discloses company-wide energy, water, waste, workforce, safety, and GHG data, including 498,389 Metric Tons CO2e of Scope 1 emissions and 641,925 Metric Tons CO2e of combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. TRC provided limited verification of the Scope 1 and Scope 2 inventory.
