Sustainable Development Report

Overview

The report reviews Anglo American's 2013 sustainability performance across companies, subsidiaries and joint ventures under management control. It highlights 14 work-related fatalities, a 19% reduction target for projected GHG emissions by 2015, and energy consumption of 106 million GJ. The report also records approximately 16% women in the overall workforce and describes extensive community, water, health and safety programmes.
