Overview

The report presents 2012 group sustainability performance, including an average workforce of 65,822 people including contractors and 18 occupational fatalities. It also reports energy consumption of 31.01m GJ and GHG emissions of 4.58Mt of CO2e, alongside continued improvement in safety indicators. External assurance was provided by Ernst & Young, while the report describes a three-stage materiality process reviewed by the Board.
