Sustainability Report

The report describes a difficult safety year after a contractor fatality at Los Pelambres, alongside the rollout of the Diversity and Inclusion Strategy across all operations. It sets a company-wide target to reduce carbon dioxide equivalent emissions by 300,000 tonnes by 2022 against a 2017 baseline. Renewable energy represented 23% of energy consumption, while total water consumption reached 67.2 million m3, including 45% sea water.
