Sustainability Report

The report presents Aperam's 2015 global sustainability performance across 9,522 own employees (FTE), with one work-related fatality. It reports 29.4% of total energy consumption from renewable charcoal and 103 ktonnes of landfilled waste, while 88.8% of residues were reused, recycled or sold. Aperam also describes a 35% CO2-intensity reduction commitment for 2020 against a 2007 baseline and selected environmental data received limited assurance from Deloitte.
