Sustainability Report

The report describes Apleona's integration of Gegenbauer alongside expanded sustainability reporting and a comprehensive Scope 1, 2 and 3 baseline. It reports completing a double materiality assessment and updating its ESG reporting approach. Apleona also estimated its customer-facing carbon handprint for the first time, indicating avoided emissions from additional energy-efficiency measures at two to three times its Scope 1 and 2 footprint. The report further records 49.5% renewable electricity procurement worldwide and 2,009 tonnes of waste generated in 2023.
