Overview

The report describes Aquafin's 2021 focus on wastewater treatment, resource recovery and climate resilience. The company treated 868.2 million m³ of wastewater to appropriate standards and reported that its WWTPs blocked 97.5% of plastic particles. It also commissioned biomethane production at Antwerpen-Zuid and injected an average of 60 Nm^3^ per hour into the natural gas grid.
