Overview

The report describes Aquafin's 2022 stakeholder consultation and resulting materiality matrix, alongside a focus on environmental impact, inclusive employment and ethical conduct. It reports approximately 13.5% energy-efficiency gains compared with 2010 and continued expansion of renewable-energy production. Operationally, 99.38% of wastewater treatment plants complied with applicable standards. The company also began estimating value-chain greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol, while acknowledging that indirect-emissions information remained incomplete.
