Overview

The report presents sustainability as a key strategic objective across the Bank's global footprint. For 2022, it reports 9,521 tCO2 of operational greenhouse gas emissions covering Scope 1, Scope 2 and travel-related Scope 3, including 122 tCO2 of Scope 1 emissions. Females represented 36% of Group employees, while the Bank provided US$775mn in green and sustainability-linked finance. The sustainability roadmap focuses on governance, environmental risk, ESG KPIs, supplier engagement and transition finance.
