Overview

The report describes ARAUCO's 2013 performance across consolidated forestry and industrial operations in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, the United States and Canada. Highlights include FSC Forest Management certification for Chilean forest operations, US$ 39.7 million invested in environmental improvements, and a consolidated workplace-fatality count of zero. The report also presents a total workforce of 40,395 workers and contract workers, including 13,324 direct employees. It was prepared using the GRI G4 "in accordance" Core option and also serves as a Communication of Progress regarding the UN Global Compact.
