Sustainability Report

The report introduces ArcelorMittal's new sustainable development framework built around 10 outcomes covering people, products, resources, energy, supply chains, communities and governance. Safety remained a major challenge: 23 colleagues lost their lives in workplace accidents during 2014. The company reported an overall greenhouse gas footprint of 206 million tonnes of CO2e, with Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 representing 85%, 8% and 7% respectively. The report also records 222,327 employees across the group and continued expansion of training, community investment and responsible sourcing programmes.
