The report presents 2023 as a difficult year for safety, reporting 61 work-related fatalities and launching a group-wide independent safety audit. It reports a group Scope 1 and 2 emissions-intensity reduction target of 25% by 2030 from 2018 and a 2023 adjusted intensity KPI of 1.97 tCO2e per tonne of steel. It also reports 33 sites certified under ResponsibleSteel by year-end and continued work toward value-chain due diligence and CSRD-related disclosures.
