Overview

The report is Arch Capital Group Ltd.'s first sustainability report, covering 2019 ESG disclosures and describing its three-lever approach: employees, stronger communities and responsible operations. It highlights 84% employee engagement, approximately 4,300 employees, $1.5M in corporate giving and $3.2M in matched employee giving. Arch also created an ESG team, formalized Board-level ESG oversight, launched an ESG-aware investment policy, and formed the Blue Goes Green environmental committee. Operational priorities included reducing single-use plastics and improving recycling, paper use and travel practices.
