Overview

The report presents 2021 group climate performance, including 494 kilotons-CO2 of Scope 1 emissions, 306 kilotons-CO2 of Scope 2 emissions and 6,933 kilotons-CO2 of Scope 3 emissions. Renewable electricity represented 30% of renewable electricity consumption reporting, and key emissions, energy and water data received third-party verification from LRQA. The report also records 29,878 regular employees at year-end and a 23.9% female managerial-position ratio across the Asahi Group.
