The report describes AIS's difficult FY 2019-20, with consolidated sales and profitability declining amid the automotive and real-estate slowdown and the COVID-19 disruption. It highlights resource-efficiency measures, renewable-power initiatives and a reported reduction of over 3,000 tonnes of CO2. The company also reports extensive CSR work in education, vocational skills, water and sanitation, women empowerment and community development. COVID-19 response measures included 27 SOPs, virtual training and company-wide safety infrastructure.
