The report describes Ashtead's resilient 2020/21 performance, including £5,031m of revenue and a return to growth despite the COVID-19 disruption. It formally embedded ESG into the Sunbelt 3.0 strategy, with a 35% carbon-intensity reduction commitment by 2030 and Scope 1 and 2 emissions reporting. The responsible business section also covers safety, employee wellbeing, community response and diversity, including 38% female representation on the Board. Year-end Group employment was 18,826 people.
