Overview

The report describes the company’s CSR policy across fair operating practices, anti-corruption, human rights, labour, consumer responsibility, environment, occupational safety and community involvement. It says the anti-corruption policy was approved and adopted in 2014 and that a CAC membership self-assessment was submitted in December 2016, with the result pending. Environmental actions include energy-saving lighting, water-saving appliances, waste reuse and the Green ASIA Hotel project. The report records seven accident cases in 2016, down from nine in 2015, and reports 31,625 kilograms of rice sold to support farmers.
