The report says ASOS reduced operational carbon intensity by approximately 4% through lower delivery emissions, data-centre efficiency and improved data capture. The company converted all lighting at its Barnsley fulfilment centre to LED, with a stated 76% reduction in lighting electricity consumption. It also reported 40% more sustainable cotton in its 2016 autumn/winter range as it worked toward its 2020 commitment.
