Overview

The report describes Aspen's 2013 sustainability performance across its global operations. The company reported 7 177 employees at 30 June 2013 and continued to strengthen human-capital, safety and community initiatives. Group emissions were reported at 10 744 tCO2e for Scope 1 and 119 189 tCO2e for Scope 2, with the 2012 emissions comparative restated. Water consumption decreased to 499 715kl, while 10 893 tons of waste were generated. The report was externally assured by Environmental Resources Management, with limited assurance on selected indicators.
