Overview

The report marks Aspen's 25th year as a JSE-listed company and places access to high-quality, affordable medicines at the centre of its sustainability narrative. The company reports more than 9 100 employees across 65 offices and about 50 countries and territories. For 2023, Group Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions total 149 301 tCO2e, while total energy consumption is 1 108 629 GJ and water consumed is 211 megalitres. Sustainability oversight is assigned to the Board and supported by board committees and executive forums.
