ESG Report

The report describes ABF's devolved ESG governance, with the Board holding Group oversight and a new ESG Policy and Reporting Group coordinating reporting. For 2023/24, it reported 20,697 GWh of energy use, 57% renewable energy, and 609 kt of waste generated. It reported one employee and five contractor fatalities, while Group-wide Scope 3 emissions remain under calculation. SBTi-validated reduction targets are reported for Primark and ABF Sugar, not as a Group-wide target.
