Overview

The report presents Assurant's first global Corporate Social Responsibility Report through four pillars: Community Impact, Responsible Employer, Integrity and Ethics, and Customer Commitment. It describes a 2017 materiality assessment and assigns ESG oversight to the Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee of the Board. Community initiatives included support for 983 charitable organizations and 6,676 employee volunteer hours.
