The report describes Assurant's 2021 sustainability performance across talent, climate, products and communities. It reports 15,600 global employees, 54% women in the global workforce and 25% women on the Board. Climate disclosures include 2,132 Metric Tons CO2e of Scope 1, 14,670 Metric Tons CO2e of location-based Scope 2, 14,973 Metric Tons CO2e of market-based Scope 2 and 3,010,457 Metric Tons CO2e of Scope 3, with limited assurance excluding the investment portfolio. It also reports a B CDP Climate Change rating and $66 million in diverse supplier spend.
