Overview

The report is AstraZeneca's second Sustainability Impact Publication, highlighting work across climate and nature action, health equity and health systems resilience. It reports a 77.5% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions versus 2015 and 97% of operational electricity from certified renewable sources. The company describes a 2030 ambition to halve its entire value chain footprint and a 2045 goal to reduce absolute Scope 3 emissions by 90% to become science-based net zero.
