Overview

The report describes ASUSTeK's 2011 sustainability performance across Taiwan and selected overseas subsidiaries. The company reported 11,457 employees worldwide and committed to reduce GHG emissions associated with energy use by 15% by 2015 from a 2008 baseline. It also disclosed annual CDP questionnaire participation and a broad program of green product, energy-efficiency and community initiatives. DNV provided external assurance over the sustainability indicators and GRI core indicators, with financial data excluded from the assurance scope.
