Overview

The report describes Athora's 2024 sustainability programme across its insurer, investor, employer and corporate citizen roles. Group operational emissions were reported at 159 tCO2e for Scope 1, 452 tCO2e for location-based Scope 2 and 7,727 tCO2e for Scope 3, alongside total energy consumption of 1,764,131 kWh and renewable energy consumption of 824,618 kWh. It also highlights formalisation of the Sustainability Investment Working Group, Group Board oversight, double materiality assessments and a workforce of 1,480 employees.
