Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Overview

The report describes AUO's 2011 global CSR activities, including greenhouse gas emissions, resource efficiency, green-factory achievements, employee and community programs, and independent assurance. It reports approximately 2.98 million tons of Scope 1 and 2 emissions and 58,875 metric tons of global waste. The report also highlights LEED Platinum and ISO50001 achievements, renewable-energy projects, water recycling and waste reduction. SGS Taiwan independently assured the report against GRI G3.1 A+ and AA1000 type 2 requirements.
