Overview

The report covers AUO's 2013 global CSR performance and highlights a return to profitability, continued low-carbon manufacturing, and an 18.3% reduction toward its 25% carbon-cut target for 2015. It reports the first Green Factory Label in the industry for the Houli fab and carbon-neutral certification for AUO's Hsinchu headquarters. AUO also describes a newly established CSR Committee, global GHG inventory, 101,146 tonnes of waste generated, and broad employee and community programs.
