Environmental Protection and Consolidated Environmental Statement for Hamburg and Lünen Sites

Overview

The report presents Aurubis' group-wide environmental strategy and a target to reduce CO2 emissions by 100,000 t against 2012 by the end of 2018. For 2016, it reports 70.0 million m3 of water used and about 103,500 t of waste in copper production. Detailed Hamburg and Lünen sections provide site-level energy, water, waste and emissions metrics, and the consolidated environmental statements were externally validated under EMAS.
