Sustainability Manifesto

The report sets out Avantium's sustainability manifesto around three pillars: Climate & Nature, People & Communities, and Integrity & Governance, covering 15 focus areas. It identifies near-term activities including defining materiality, setting metrics, embedding sustainability into appraisals and Board responsibilities, and creating a reporting framework. The manifesto also highlights life-cycle analysis as the basis for measuring environmental impacts, including ongoing assessments of Ray and YXY technologies. It presents the company's mission and technologies as contributing to a transition from fossil-based to renewable and circular products.
