Overview

The report describes Aveng's 2022 implementation of a values-aligned ESG framework and identifies the Group Board as ultimately responsible for sustainability reporting. It reports 41 620 tCO2e of total Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions, including 26 455 tCO2e Scope 1 and 15 165 tCO2e Scope 2, with limited KPMG assurance. The Group recorded no fatalities and 207 919 kt of total waste, while consuming 73 541 907 kL of water. It also highlights R26,2 billion group revenue and a 2050 carbon-zero roadmap under development.
