Sustainable Development Report

Overview

The report describes AVI's 2024 sustainability performance across environmental, social, and governance topics. Environmental highlights include 201 615 metric tonnes of total carbon emissions, continued measurement of water and energy use, and investments in solar, desalination, and water storage. I&J's hake fishery retained MSC certification and its abalone operation achieved ASC recertification. Social investment included R26,4 million made available to CSI programmes, while workforce, safety, transformation, and supply-chain practices are detailed across the report.
