Overview

The report highlights the company's 2040 net-zero ambition and a validated SBTi target to cut operational Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions 90% from 2019 by 2030. It reports a 50% operational emissions reduction, 100% renewable electricity for operations, and £9.5bn invested in UK infrastructure and real estate from 2020 to 2023. Social initiatives included £32.5m of community investment benefiting more than 800,000 people, while women represented 40.6% of senior management in 2023.
