Sustainability Report

The report describes Axel Springer’s 2008-2009 sustainability performance under GRI’s highest application level and says its quantitative information was externally verified. For 2009, it reports 10,740 average employees and group revenue of 2,611.6 million Euros. At the specified printing and publishing locations, energy requirements fell by 1.8 percent between 2007 and 2009, reaching 124,978 MWh.
