Sustainability Report

The report presents Axel Springer's 2013 sustainability program against the backdrop of its rapid transformation into a digital publishing group. It describes a stakeholder-based materiality matrix, Green IT and resource-efficiency projects, and detailed reporting on employees, environmental performance, social standards and media responsibility. Workforce highlights include 13,651 average full-time staff and a 25.8% share of women in management. PwC provided limited assurance over selected quantitative sustainability data, while the report was checked by GRI at Application Level A+.
