Overview

The report presents Axel Springer’s 2016-2017 sustainability performance in accordance with the GRI Standards’ Core option. It describes group-wide energy reporting, including 2017 electricity consumption, and reports 49,620 t CO2 of Scope 2 emissions and 2,141 t CO2 of Scope 3 emissions, while Scope 1 natural-gas emissions were not recorded. The report also covers employee diversity, social commitment, environmental guidelines and value-chain forestry standards.
