Overview

The report describes Axis Bank's 2013-14 Business Responsibility initiatives across ethics, employee well-being, environmental management, financial inclusion, and community development. It reports a workforce of 42,420 employees, 202 tonnes of dry waste recycled, and more than 1,22,860 tree saplings planted. The Bank also reports financing of ₹3,181.67 crores for renewable and environmentally beneficial projects. Its community programs covered 18 livelihood programs and 2,71,544 beneficiaries, alongside education, healthcare, and financial-inclusion activities.
