Annual Report and Accounts

The report describes a sixth successive year of revenue and profit growth, with 2009 revenue up 22% to £1,901.9m. The company launched its Home Safe Every Day safety message and reported one fatality in the year. Its environmental activities included the Climate Change Agreement, the EU Emissions Trading Scheme and ISO 14001-accredited contracts. The report also highlights 535 UK apprentices in training and 108 graduates recruited to the Group programme.
