Sustainability Report

The report covers Balfour Beatty's worldwide operations for the 12 months ending 31 December 2012. It highlights achievement of the 50% waste-to-landfill reduction target, while reporting eight worker fatalities and combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 436,101 tonnes CO2e. The report also notes the appointment of the first female Board member, a 20% reduction goal for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2015, a CDP score of 78/100 and limited KPMG assurance over selected GHG data.
