The report highlights Balfour Beatty's strong 2022 performance, including £7,629m of Group revenue and a year with no fatalities. Scope 1 emissions were 217,757 tCO2e, Scope 2 location-based emissions were 35,938 tCO2e, and Scope 3 emissions were 3,288,390 tCO2e. The company continued work toward its 2030 carbon-reduction target and 2040 Beyond Net Zero Carbon ambition. It generated 2,240,945 tonnes of waste, with 96% of total waste diverted from landfill, while PwC provided limited assurance over selected GHG and social-value data.
