Sustainability Strategy

The report refreshes Balfour Beatty's Building New Futures Sustainability Strategy around climate change, nature positive, resource efficiency, supply chain integrity, community engagement and employee diversity, equity and inclusion. It reports that the company achieved its £3 billion social value target ahead of schedule and has set a new £6 billion UK target for 2030. Its climate commitments include a 42% Scope 1 and 2 reduction by 2030 and net zero Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2050, while nature-positive targets are being embedded across UK operations.
