Overview

The report describes Ballard's first stakeholder-engaged materiality assessment and the resulting ESG priorities. It reports 1,029 employees, a 7% reduction in emissions intensity from 2020, and renewable energy powering 96% of facilities. Ballard also reports offsetting 798 tonnes of CO2e in 2021, reclaiming 95% of platinum from used MEAs, and pursuing a carbon-neutral objective by 2030.
