Overview

The report describes the company’s completion of major Santander-Banco Real integration stages and the largest initial public offering in Brazil during 2009. It introduced GRI G3 reporting at application level A+ and established a greenhouse gas inventory based on the Brazil GHG Protocol. Social investment remained significant, including R$ 6.9 million raised by Amigo de Valor and continued support for public education through Projeto Escola Brasil.
