The report describes Santander Brasil's sustainability strategy across a resilient and inclusive economy, human potential and environmental resources, including R$ 13.7 billion in social and environmental businesses. The company ended 2019 with 54,484 professionals and reported increased female representation in leadership and governance. Operational disclosures include 1,054,950 GJ of energy, 616,126 m3 of water consumption and 883 tons of waste. The handbook states that the company has been carbon neutral for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions since 2010 and was prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards.
